News - June 2022 Crab Regulation Changes discussion (June 16, 2022)

Thank you all for a productive meeting last night! All the conversations and meetings the industry had over the last two weeks really showed. Just wanted to quickly recap the options the group recommended last night...

In the documents below, the Committee recommended Option 1 for females. For males the group recommended a modification of Option 6, where rather than the season ending Nov 15, it would end either Nov 30 or Dec 1, and if necessary to achieve the goal, would drop CB9 bushel limits to 15. We are working to draft Public Notices that make these modifications to our regulations for the 2022 season effective July 1, 2022.
